Military Ministry

To support our men and women in uniform who sacrifice their lives each day to serve our country and preserve our freedom. Jesus once said, “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends, John 15:13” Vision Community Church is committed to our military community by incorporating activities strategies to support our troops and their families during their tour of duty and deployments. To be a place of transition as military people come and go through our community. We are excited to be able to serve them as they serve our country.

Prayer

The most powerful way to direct and capture the biblical motivation for witness and service in your community is through a growing prayer ministry. Many people in today's culture are spiritually seeking to connect with God and to find something beyond themselves. Prayer is the conduit that connects us to God and opens up the possibilities of direction and understanding. It is a good time for the Church, as the body of Christ, to reestablish and advance our understanding, use and development of this powerful gift as an effective tool for ministry and outreach.

If you have a prayer request you can contact us at our prayer page.

Guest Services

It’s our desire to offer superior service to every person who walks through Vision Community Church. Our ministry is to take care of you from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave and enhance your overall experience by the service we provide to our guests and members. VCC believes everyone that enters the doors of will experience a memorable before and after worship. We have incorporated several ministry teams to meet your every need:

  • First Impressions- First Impressions team help make a positive first impression on guests to Vision by creating a warm, friendly, helpful, and user-friendly environment each Sunday. Team members greet and offer assistance to newcomers in the parking lot, at the front door and inside the auditorium. Everything a First Impressions team member does it to help make a person’s visit to Vision a positive and memorable experience.

  • Visitor's Hospitality Team-Without the Visitor's Hospitality Team, none of us would enjoy that nice hot cup of coffee on Sunday mornings! Hospitality team members are responsible for arriving early to church to make coffee, set up the hospitality area, and then cleanup once the service begins. Another way we let our guest and members know how much we care.

  • Seed Gatherers- The gatherers do just that—collect the tithes and offerings during the service. Each team member is assigned to pass baskets to a certain section and receive the baskets from another section.

  • Seating Specialist- These people make our guests and members feel special by helping people to find a seat once the auditorium begins to fill up. These specialists stand in the aisles and are responsible for particular sections. They continually keep a watch on open seating areas and then they escort people to those areas. A seating specialist may also need to ask people to move down a few seats at times in order to make room in a row. We want to make sure everyone is able to have a seat for our worship.

  • Communion Team- This team is responsible for preparing and organizing Communion (the Lord’s Supper) for the worship service. Team members work together to prepare the communion supplies that morning, set up the tables in the auditorium, serve the communion elements during the service, and clean up afterwards. Vision celebrates Communion every fourth Sunday of the month.
